Fischer DE70 is micro-processor based smart differential pressure transmitter with highly sensitive capacitive sensor element. It is suitable for overpressure, negative pressure and differential pressure monitoring of liquid and gases, and thereby used for pressure, level and flow monitoring.
DE70 is also available in explosion proof version for hazardous area application.
Due to precise silicon based capacitance type pressure sensing element, DE70 is highly rugged, resistant to effects of fatigue and overloading, and unaffected by pressure fluctuations.

Working Principle:
DE70 works on silicon capacitance sensor with a bridge measuring circuit. This sensor element is very rugged, resistant to effects of fatigue and overloading, and unaffected by pressure fluctuations.
Modern microprocessor technology is used to convert bridge output to a standard 4-20mA signal, which permits measured value to be transmitted over long distances. A HART interface is also available using an optional communication module installed in the transmitter. With HART interface, digitally transmitted pressure measurement, as well as the transmitter’s setup data can be read very accurately by simply connecting a compatible terminal device at any point along the length of the signal output loop.
