Fischer DE46 Ex is high accuracy, low pressure range, with LED display, capacitive sensor, microcontroller based, ATEX approved differential pressure transmitter with limit switch,  for positive pressure gauge, negative pressure gauge or differential pressure gauge monitoring.

It is suitable for installation in hazardous area for explosion proof electrical equipment requirement for Zone 2 and Zone 22.

It is suitable for all clean air or gaseous media. It offer two configurable limit contacts, inbuilt LED display and programmable analog output with signal conversion table.

Fischer DE46 Ex is multi-functional, high accuracy, micro-controlled based ATEX approved explosion proof pressure instrument which combines digital readout, dual limit detection relays and optional transmitter output. The instrument consist of microprocessor based electronic unit to process signals and transmit over analog signals.

With its available options, it is suitable for installation in hazardous area locations.

Working Principle:

DE46 is based on highly sensitive capacitance sensor element to measure positive gauge, negative gauge (vacuum) or differential pressure. The measuring pressure is applied directly on micro-machined silicon-on-glass capacitance sensor element. DE46 internal micro-controller transferred measured values to LED display and operates two internal limit relays / switches, which can be used for alarm / control functions.

With transmitter option, the measured value can be transmitted as voltage or current signal output after conversion by a D/A converter module.

The output signal, thus can be filtered, scaled and inverted accurately by digital controller.
