Fischer DE15 – differential and operating pressure transmitter

Fischer DE15 is dual, integrated differential pressure and operating pressure measuring system transmitter, with dual independent analog output. It is suitable for application with non-aggressive gases and vapour.

It can be used for cryogenic applications, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clean rooms etc

Fischer DE15 is uniquely designed, state-of-art differential pressure measuring transmitter with integrated operating pressure measuring system. The integrated pressure sensor records operating pressure of the system independent of differential pressure measuring system. Thereby, DE15 offer two independent measurement and output signal – one for differential pressure and other for operating pressure.

It can be used for non-corrosive gases and vapours including cryogenic applications.

Working Principle:

Differential pressure measuring system

DE15 measuring system consists of two pressure chambers separated by a diaphragm. Differential pressure applied on either one of the chambers leads to proportional displacement of the diaphragms. This movement is transferred to an inductive displacement transducer and converted to electrical analog signal by downstream electronics.

Operating pressure measuring system

A ceramic sensor with DMS bridge is installed on (-) side of the device. The current pressure changes the form of the ceramic membrane and leads to a proportional change in resistance of DMS bridge. This change of resistance is converted to 4-20mA analog output signal.
